About Bradly “Dreamwalker” MacDonald

I am a status First Nations member of the Pikwakanagan Algonquin’s, in Golden Lake, Ontario, Canada.

I am a Sundancer of over twenty years and I received my Medicines with teachings from Chief Stanley Looking Horse of Greengrass, reserve in South Dakota.
I learned from Shaolin Masters in San Francisco, by living with them for a couple of years and a Zen monk in Venice that became my best friend and Brother for life. I am a member of the Dog warrior Society, and the Lakota Hayoka’s from Big Mountain Sundance with Chief Leonard Crow Dog and Chief John Fun Maker

My teachers were: (to mention only a few)
Grandfather Stanley Looking Horse: Greengrass Reservation
Marc Lehrer PhD: American College of Hypnotherapy, Biofeedback, and Neurotherapy Practices
Elder Ernie Phillips: Interior Salish Nation
Grandfather Wallace Black Elk: Pine Ridge Lakota Reservation
Grandfather Archie Fire Lamedeer: Pine Ridge Lakota Reservation
Grandfather John Whitecloud:
Elder Uncle Henry Rodriguez of La Jolla Band of Mission Indians
Rev. Abraham Kahikina Akaka: direct descendant of King Kamehameha, Hawwaii
Chief Oren Lyons: Onondaga Nation.
Chief Tommy Chaino: Road Chief of the Kiowa Nation. aka “Saygee” Oklahoma

I know many Elders and have worked with many Medicine People but one of my main personality characteristics is to not mention names or places when it comes to teachings in spiritual laws or petroglyphs. It is not to be disrespectful to my teachers or Elders I have known as my very close friends but, because people ask dumb questions and don’t wait for simple answers.
For instance “Everything in Life is Sacred” and if a person really would answer every question with aspects of this simple truth they would find themselves as being part of the sacred fiber of life and begin to celebrate everyday for the rest of their life. But instead they find it easier to believe that they are sinners and not part of life’s plan.

The work that we do is far too important and the need is far too great to waste time on throwing around names, times, and places. We need to focus on the problems, dispel misconceptions and find the harmony required to live fruitful lives.

I have been very fortunate to have been taught many sacred truths in my lifetime. I work with many Elders and Pipe Carriers throughout the United States and Canada directly and with Organizations for communities representing all walks of life. My works have been seen and shared with some of the best PhD’s, Judges, Professors, Ministers, and Chiefs.

The one thing that people forget is that when we lose an Elder we lose a life time of knowledge. We must live a complete life time to regain it, and some times it will cost us many life times. We have lost many great Elders and we need to find out just how much knowledge we still hold in our hands for the future generation to survive. That’s my job, it’s to find the Sacred in each and every community so that it can grow and become the beacon that calls like minds together for the betterment of all. What I do is very simple to some and very hard for others,

1)Dispel Misconceptions. 2) Restore Harmony. 3) Build on solid foundation by restoring the dignity that belongs to each person as a birthright

I have letters from Judges, City Attorneys, Governors, Chiefs, Doctors, Psychologists, Elders, Organizations, Heads of State, and Health Program Administrators that will all point out the successes and long term effects of our programs.

I personally have worked creating monuments for Tribal Councils, oil paintings for Museums, murals for communities, and mentored youth in programs with churches, friendship centers, and national non-profit organizations. I have worked as a Storyteller and community traditional teacher for First Nation / Indian Health Organizations on an annual basis. I worked as a storyteller for terminal children and psychologists national seminars, and I still am a Featured Artist for Museums Internationally. I co-produced the International Children’s Day Parade for the 1986 World Expo in Vancouver. I have raised money for major public awareness programs and non-profit organizations internationally.

I was honored as a key note speaker for the Superior Court Judges and the County Sheriffs Dept.  in San Diego, California. I also worked in areas of drug and alcohol rehabilitation and post traumatic stress syndrome. I worked on stage productions with many famous people and have enjoyed the pleasure of being part of successful productions.

I have received proclamations, awards, and plaques from City populations of 10,000,000 or more. These are not badges of honor but mutual recognition and respect of many of the above mentioned people. And I am much honored to know each and everyone of them.

I take my work very serious because people’s lives are very precious and sacred not only to them but all those around them. That is why I endeavor to help people, and we base the process on Spiritual Laws.

I respect the wishes of the Elders and we are attempting to bring together the professional community as a balanced mechanism that fulfills all requirements in the healing process. The system of medicine and psychology has failed in many aspects when it comes to understanding the plight of First Nations people. Understandably because they can not conceive the losses of our people or the mistrust that has been so deeply ingrained that the very first step on their part is completely the opposite of what is called for by those they wish to serve. From the beginning of time, we as First Nations people were told through our oral tradition that:

“Everything in life is Sacred” but we cling to the new and less productive words from the current dominant society that says they can heal our spirits.
Just remember when it comes to listening to their words that they are the ones that not so long ago tried to commit genocide of our people across the entire western hemisphere.

And give our spiritual teachings a better look, you might find out that they hold the keys that you have been waiting for.
